The Musical of Musicals (The Musical!) is a delightful satire of musical theater, where one story becomes five delightful musicals, each written in the distinctive style of a different master of the form: Rodgers & Hammerstein, Jerry Herman, Kander & Ebb, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Stephen Sondheim. The basic plot: June is an ingenue who can't pay the rent and is threatened by her evil landlord. Will the handsome leading man come to the rescue? You'll have to see it to find out!

Get ready to laugh, cry and fall in love with lyrics that are heartbreakingly true and music that captures the soaring emotions of a new generation. Simple and unpretentious, this Tony Award-winning musical is a perfect introduction to the work of this contemporary master and a must for diehard fans. With this award-winning revue of his earlier work, some of the most lush, unforgettable songs from this musical theatre master are presented in one magical evening. Featuring music from Company, Follies, A Little Night Music, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Anyone Can Whistle and Pacific Overtures, along with the classics co-written with musical theatre giants, Leonard Bernstein, Jule Styne and Richard Rodgers, this dazzling array of some of Sondheim's best-known songs demonstrates his masterful craft and astounding creativity. The sophistication, wit, insight, heart and genius of Broadway's most innovative and influential artist is at the center of this tribute to composer-lyricist Steven Sondheim.

Covid-19

Our theatre has been dark due to the COVID-19 pandemic since March 2020. We have no idea when it will again be safe to congregate to produce and present live theatre. We chose our 2021 season show hoping that we will get back on the boards this year. Whenever that time comes, we want to be ready to go into production as quickly as possible.

In the meantime, we have presented two streamed shows, I Do! I Do! and Sounds of the Season. We continue to consider alternative ways to provide entertainment to our audiences.

So you may see us again virtually. Until we see you again in Real Life,

Stay safe. Be well.
