Character Breakdown
Seeking Non-AEA actors for the following roles

JACK STRAW: A "Scarecrow": A slang term for an unlicensed Private Detective. Stoic and suspicious of everyone around him. Rarely without a drink.

DOROTHY GALE: Young, fierce, and brave, but willing to seek help when needed. Naïve, but no longer as naïve as she lets on. She has learned that she's attractive enough to appeal to the right sort of person's heart... but doesn't like that she has to rely on it, and especially hates being called on it.

ESME WEST: A beautiful and wealthy heiress, accustomed to being in charge. Usually well composed, angry and heartbroken underneath. Perfectly willing to use her wiles to get whatever she desires, and willing to use the wealth and power at her disposal, if her wiles do not suffice.

NICK CHOPPER: A police detective. One of the few not on the take. He's been rewarded for his honesty, publicly. Privately, nobody trusts him since they can't control him. He's been exiled to public appearances and occasional low-profile cases nobody powerful cares about.

LEON STRACHAJLO: A large, down-on-his-luck former boxer, blustering but barely able to hold himself together. Extremely jumpy and speaks without thinking. He has always wanted to be a hero, but his own cowardice has repeatedly tripped him up.

THE MAYOR OF OZ: On the surface, a powerful and beneficent man. Underneath, he's greedy, dishonest, and corrupt. He works hard to protect his image as a kind and professional man, but underneath, has all the desires and wants of a Kansas hog.
