David Clark was a founding member of the Pinole Community Players and on its Board of Directors since 1986.

Mr. Clark taught high school theatre and technical theatre for 39 years, directed scores of student and community productions, founded the Pinole Young Actors and the City of Pinole's School of Performing Arts. Over the years he mentored dozens of actors and directors.

Theatre was an ever-present part of his life and he was an ever-present guiding influence for PCP. His passing in 2018 was a great loss felt by all of us.

The David Clark Memorial Fund will provide scholarships to community youth to participate in the Pinole Young Actors and the School of Performing Arts theater training programs, and for other theater special needs as identified by the PCP Board of Directors, which manages, maintains and distributes the funds.
